Desiree is originally from Pennsylvania and moved to Florida in 2005. After obtaining her Master’s degree in Nursing with education as a focus she worked at Advent Health as an emergency department nurse educator, emergency nurse internship program coordinator, and hospital orientation specialist. After several years working as an educator and trainer for Advent Health, she returned to school to obtain her Family Nurse Practitioner degree and became board certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Once obtaining her FNP-c she has worked in Family Practice diagnosing and treating diverse and complex medical conditions.
During her time in family practice, she found that healthy lifestyles and eating are her passions. She now dedicates her professional time to helping others achieve their weight loss goals and has been a patient of Calla Slimspa in 2009 she brings her personal weight loss journey experience to help others achieve their weight loss goals.
